Keely Kastrukoff, RN(C), IBCLC
(she/her)
I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2010. I then co-taught the Douglas College Breast/Chestfeeding Course for Health Care Providers, supported clients and breastfeeding initiatives through public health and was a Lactation Consultant for the two year pilot project at the Victoria General Hospital. I am a registered nurse, and graduated with a BScN from the University of British Columbia in 2003.
There is nothing as special as a parent comfortably latching their newborn. Though breast/chestfeeding is natural, it is not always easy. I am honored to support infant feeding
and help parents achieve their own feeding goals.
I am thrilled to join Dandelion Midwifery as a Lactation Consultant! As a nurse, I have worked in northern Alberta and I continue to work in public health. I am very grateful to live with my husband and two adolescents on the traditional lands of the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples.
In my free time, I enjoy paddleboarding in Brentwood Bay, hiking the trails on the Peninsula and sharing meals with my family.
